Good day everyone & I hope your Monday is going well thus far. It’s Mommy Moment Monday & I want to key in on my special rainbow baby today.
Now, before I get started, please make note that I love all of my children equally. I want to take some time out to focus in on Lovèah Rose because she just turned 22 months on February 26th!. {excuse me as I step away to cry a bit.}
Rosie is our miracle baby God blessed us with after experiencing my first miscarriage May 24, 2014. We never know why tragedies happen, but I do know we wanted a 4th child and God heard the desires of our hearts and answered.
Lovèah Rose is so precious. She is so funny & loving. She’s developing her own personality. We are definitely preparing for those “teachable two’s” come April. She enjoys our homeschooling sessions and literally runs to our work space to grab her learning books & alphabet cards. I’m thankful that I’m able to homeschool her and catch all her funny moments on video!
One of the things I cherish the most about my munchkin is I get to nurse her freely. It doesn’t matter that she’s almost two years old, I know what breastfeeding does for her & I will continue nursing her until she is ready to stop. She has only been sick roughly 6 times since birth. She eats the healthy foods that I eat & doesn’t turn food away.
I cherish every single moment with my Rosie & I thank God for blessing me with a rainbow after a storm.
There maybe women reading this blog that are trusting and believing God for a child after losing one or many. There maybe some who have been trying to conceive, but never actually saw the positive sign on a pregnancy test. Or there could be someone reading this who gave up on trying all together. Please, hear me out, don’t stop believing God for your baby. And another thing is, there are other ways to become a parent. There is adoption from birth & that is always special. One day, I will share a story about my brother on my blog, so stay tuned & stay encouraged.
Until next time, “laugh hard, love harder, capture each moment & sprinkle a little joy in someone else’s life.” – XO Shona~
