Tasty Tuesday| Goodful Style

Hey, hey friends! Happy Tasty Tuesday! I know it’s a bit later than I normally post, but I wanted to wait until dinner time to give you one out of four recipes I found on Facebook! I was going to do all four today, but I figured I’ll start with my favorite recipe first!

So, tell me, who loves fast & easy meal prep? I know I do! A lot of time people just dread meal prep because it takes time to plan & prepare your meals for the week. But let me tell you something, it is sooooo worth the time and effort! I mean it’s better to have every meal available for you so you don’t eat loads of junk foods. Making small healthy choices pays off in the long run.

I really enjoyed this meal! It’s easy to prep and looked A-MAZING coming out the oven! This recipe is bell peppers topped with lime chicken breast! It was delicious! Maybe this is something you can plan to make on Sunday!

Ingredients:

Chicken breast (thawed)

1 Red Bell Pepper

1 Green Bell Pepper

1/2 Medium Sweet Onion

Olive Oil

Salt

Pepper

2 TBSP Raw Honey

1 TBSP Low -Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Clove Garlic (chopped)

1 Lime

Parchment Paper

A Medium Bowl

A small sauce bowl

Directions:

Grab your bell peppers and 1/2 onion & cut them in Julienne slices and put in a medium bowl.
Season with salt & pepper, drizzle olive oil over it, toss with hands & set bowl aside.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Chop your garlic & place in a small sauce bowl. Then add your 2 TBSP raw honey & 1 TBSP low- sodium soy sauce. Stir with a spoon & set aside.

Grab a piece of parchment paper and set on the table. Using thongs, take out some of your bell peppers & onions and place in the center of the parchment paper.

Get 1 piece chicken breast, season both sides with salt & pepper. Then brush your honey, soy sauce & garlic mix on both sides.
Cut your lime in half and squeeze fresh lime juice on both sides. Slice 2 thin slices of lime and place on top.

Turn parchment paper horizontally, make thin folds on top until the paper touches the chicken. Then twist the ends of the paper so it’s sealed nice and tight.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken isn’t red.

Get your favorite dish and get ready because your tastebuds are bound to dance!!

Let me know what you thought about this meal below in the comment section.
